What Causes Constant Fatigue During Menopause?

I m exhausted all the time. I do have a thyroid problem which is controlled by medication but since I m now in menopause I m thinking it may need adjusting. Never mind since I m going to the next week I m going to wait and ask when my copayment gets me advise and labs.

Hi,

Menopause does not affect the thyroid function and if it does it get adjusted or compensated, even in case of thyroid dysfunction it does not affect it.

So no need to adjust the dose of medicine taken for thyroid disease, but it advisable to test the hormone level and according to that dose need to be adjusted.

Moreover, the symptoms that you have may not be due to thyroid disease but menopause may be the cause only.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
