What Causes Constant Headache In A Child Despite Taking Medication?
My son 6 years old gets fever and headache since 3 days. My doctor says it might be respiratory tract infection. He is having severe headache as soon as combiflame effect goes away after 4-5 hrs with fever. Today in the morning he vomited once and had loose motion twice. We went to doc today and he asked for an X-ray of head, after which he concluded that he had sinusitis because of which he is having headache. Doctor said to continue with advert forte (5ml twice) and Delcone(5ml thrice) for 7 days and combiflame for another 2 days. Is it okay for a 6 yr child to get so severe headache regularly for 3 days? I am worried.

As your doctor said your child might be having sinusitis, it causes severe headache and also heaviness,more during day time.it will be reduced with a course of antibiotics. I advise you to give steam inhalation which will help to clear the blockage and reduce the sinusitis. If severity of the headache increases consult your doctor to rule out any other possibilities of headache
