What Causes Constant Headaches Along With Lower Back Pain?

i recently was involved in a head on collision (2 months). I have constant headachs, mild concussion, small pupils, low back pain L4 and below. I m 73 yrs, female and in good health. Never smoked, drank, used drugs, used natural means to health, no fast foods, few restaurants. In a recent MRI I was told a had brain loss volumn which could involve a heart condition not to mention dementia, etc. How do I stop and reverse this condition. I am also the sole care giver for my husband and have been for 14 years. What now?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

As you take good care of yourself, the only other way to ensure good health of your brain is to make sure the blood being circulated to the brain is sufficient and healthy. Make sure you speak to a neurologist who can help with this, but other than that, lifestyle changes are not really required as you are living a decently healthy lifestlye. Please also get an MRI of your spine conducted to look into and treat any abnormalities causing disturbances in your brain.

Best wishes.
