What Causes Constant Headaches Along With Nausea And Vomiting?

I m a 63 year old woman. I ve been getting nauseated and throwing up often sometimes nightly. I get a headache first and my heart starts pounding. This usually happens after dinner. My doctor did some blood work and said one of my tests were elevated so he is doing a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis. The test was a Amy and the result was 135. What could he be looking for?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with persistent headache nausea vomiting palpitation I will suggest you are gradually developing a hypertensive disease

So please check your blood pressure and see a cardiologist specialist for expert management

Concerning your raised Serum amylase level 135 following a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis I will suggest your physician is looking to rule out Pancreatic cancer

I hope this helps
Regards and get well soonest
