Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In the past 9 days - my 5 year old will be perfectly happy full of energy - then out of the blue he says he has a headache. We have him lay down and put a cool wash cloth on his face. About 10 minutes later we give him Advil - and he vomits within 1 minute of taking the Advil. After he vomits he is fine and goes back to playing. What do you think is happening?
Headaches in children are not very common, thus he needs to be monitored well. If he is playing and not complaining much of it then there is nothing to worry. If the pain causes him to lay or not to play as usual he needs to be seen by a doctor.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
