What Causes Constant Hiccups While On Clarithromycin?

hi - I ve been having strong hiccups for over 7 hours now and finding it very disturbing. I ve been on clarithromycin for a chest infection all week and had a cortisone epidural injection yesterday for pain relief for a slipped disc. I really going through it! Could these be the cause of the hiccups for you think? Thanks

I have understand your concern

most probable reasons for your hiccups are
1.diaphragmatic irritation due to chest infection
2.gastric reflux
3.electrolytes imbalance

epidural analgesics mostly not a cause of hiccups

suggest you to get done serum electrolytes

I can suggest you to take
1.tab.liofen 5 mg stat and SOS
2.syrup.gaviscon 15 ml after food
