Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Constant Hotness And Sweating With The History Of Hysterectomy?
I feel extremely hot and sweaty almost all the time, even when other people are cold. I work in surgery and the rooms are usually cool. I don t tolerate heat well at all. I am 59, female, S/P hysterectomy, taking low dose estrogen. What could be causing me to be hot all the time ? My normal body temp is 97.6
I think you should check your thyroid function doing T3 T4 and TSH. Hyperthyroidism may be the cause of your symptoms. Also, low level of estrogen may cause you got flashes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
