What Causes Constant Itching In Between The Toes And Feet?
Hello, I ve had itching between my toes, and I thought it was athletes feet. I started using lotrimin, but it hasn t helped. My feet became even more itchy, and were burning. So, I put aloe with tea tree oil and it stopped itching. If it s not athletes feet, what else could it be? Does lotrimin not stop itching at all?
Athlete’s foot is caused by several types of fungal organisms. Most individuals note an itching sensation as well as cracking, peeling or scaly skin. Athlete’s foot is caused by fungi that thrive in moist and warm environments such showers and under socks left in shoes. 1. Apply locally a cream containing miconazole, clobetasol and gentamicin such as Lobate – GM cream thrice daily 2. Fluconazole 150 mg once in a week orally for 4 weeks – 4 doses 3. Frequently change your sock and shoe to avoid moisture 4. Shoes should be rotated; don’t wear the same shoes two days in a row 5. Allow time for feet to be exposed without any covering 6. Thoroughly dry the space between the toes after shower
thanks
