What Causes Constant Nausea Along With Chronic Migraine Headaches?
Hi, I m a 31 year old female. I have four children and had a partial hysterectomy June 30, 2014 due to adenomyosis. Since, I have developed cysts on my ovaries. I have back spasms from pinched nerves in my L5. I ve also been having severe migraines, constipation or diarrhea (it s always one or the other), constant nausea (since hysterectomy), severe fatigue and stomach pain. Here in the last few months my stomach pain has been accompanied by electricity like shocks on the left side of my abdomin. I m worried about what this might mean.
Constant nausea is due to chronic migraine. You can take Tab. tylenol at start. If not getting relief then you can take Tab. Rizatriptan after consultation.
For recurrent episode you may require tab. propranolol to prevent repeated attacks.
Like last time you have an ovarian cyst, so repeat ultrasound abdomen and pelvis to check the status and consult with a gynaecologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
