Hi Andrew,
There are many causes for the pain you describe and there is no substitute for a full assessment and examination by a physician. However it is reassuring to see that your scan and bloods have come back normal. Most serious problems could be expected to cause at least some abnormality on these test results. Your doctor seems to think your stress may be a contributing factor. This may well be so and it is important to see if your symptoms improve with successful management of the stress symptoms. I would recommend further review with your doctor in the first instance.
