Hi my name is Andrew I have constant pain in my back and neck it makes me feel nervous at times and feel a bit breathless even pain goes in to my arms it is driving me mad I have had an mri scan it showed nothing up with me had all my bloods done all came back Ok. Doctor asked if I was depressed I told him I have got no worries and he said just too take ibrofen it doesn t help had physiotherapy too.which doesn t help eithe. I have put up with this for a long time now regards andrew
Hi Andrew, There are many causes for the pain you describe and there is no substitute for a full assessment and examination by a physician. However it is reassuring to see that your scan and bloods have come back normal. Most serious problems could be expected to cause at least some abnormality on these test results. Your doctor seems to think your stress may be a contributing factor. This may well be so and it is important to see if your symptoms improve with successful management of the stress symptoms. I would recommend further review with your doctor in the first instance.
