What Causes Constant Need For Clearing The Throat Along With Sore Sinuses?
Couple weeks back had sore throat got meds and it went away then about 3 weeks later I have what feels like something flopping around in my throat, constantly need to clear throat, sometimes it will interfere with my vocal cords. My throat isn t sore, at night I can feel this flap fall to one side of my throat or the other depending on what side I am laying on. Is this something that will go away with time, is it another infection. Sometimes my sinuses are sore, but there is no apparent drainage, what do you think?

The constant need to clear the throat along with sore sinuses do indicate possible congestion of upper respiratory tract from viral infection most likely. Following guidelines will help you for better recovery:
- Gargles with salted lukewarm water
- Peppermint oil use
- Consumption of lukewarm water, caffeinated drinks
- Avoid beverages
- Avoid ice creams or other dairy products
- Prescription of antibiotics, anti inflammatory medicines, antihistamine and cough formulas
- Avoidance of exposure to dust, pollen containing atmosphere
- Avoid smoking if involved
