Hello Dr. here is my question.....This morning around 9 am all of a sudden i start hearing noise in my left ear. I cannot hear very well in that year if i plug my right ear. it is 11 pm now and I am still hearing noise in that ear. I have not pain but constant noise?
Hi. Thanks for your query and an elucidate history. The probable causes for sudden hearing of noise in left (one) ear with reduced hearing are one of the following, please get all checked accordingly. - Acute otitis media with inflammation spread to nearby structures in inner ear of cochlea. - Hypertension - Glomus tumor - Flu. I would advise you to consult an ENT Surgeon for a clinical evaluation, examination, MRI of the brain and ears.
The treatment will obviously depend upon the examination findings and lab and radiology reports.
