Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
Numbness of lips can occur due to a number of causes like very
cold climate, side effects of medication, allergies, toxin exposure,
nerve injury or
nerve damage, Raynauld's disease, Multiple
Sclerosis etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral or Neuro Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and assessment by a few questions done like:
-How long have you experienced numb lips?
-Did the numb lips begin suddenly?
-Are you experiencing any other symptoms along with your numb lips?
-Do your numb lips worsen when you consume certain foods or drinks?
-Are your numb lips becoming worse or more frequent?
-Are you taking any medications?
As of now you should take Vitamin B complex supplements and do warm compresses over the lips..
If the lips appear dry apply thick coat of Petroleum jelly over the lips..
Avoid exposure to excessive cold..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
