What Causes Constant Pain And Numbness On The Left Side Of The Knees?

my left knee has been aching off and on . Especially at night and in the morning. My skin seems to be numb on the left side of the knee and is spreading down the left side. Might be bursitis. How do I get it to go away and quit getting worse as it has been? This started about 4 months ago.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thanks for asking HCM.
what is your age? If more than 30 years then it could be due to early changes of arthritis. some other causes could be High level of uric acid, deficiency of Calcium and Vitamin D3 etc. numbness could be because of low level of vit B12 and neuritis. following investigations are required to rule out the causes
CBC, Sr.calcium, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D3, Sr. uric acid.
If a patient like you come to my clinic i would prescribe calcium supplement, vitamin B12 supplement, along with Cp. Conjoint twice daily to be continued minimum of 6 month.
Please follow up with the above recommended tests result for further guidance.
