Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having a constant pain on the left back side of my head. I think it was caused by a bellyflop onto my right side from about 10 feet above the water. this pain has been going on for 3 to 4 days now. I am starting to get concerned. what do you think?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. By your history and description, possibility of water injury related pain is more likely. So apply warm water pad on affected areas. Avoid sudden jerky head movements. Use soft pillow in the bed. Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.. You will mostly improve with all these in 1 week. If not improving then get done CT brain to rule out internal injury. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
