What Causes Constant Pain In Left Foot?

It started 3 years ago. My left foot started hurting. Basically it hurts to the touch on the top of my foot right before the toes. The pain is constant. My second littlest toe gets a numbing tingling sensation to the very tip. The bottom part of my foot is more numbing pain/discomfort. Strange thing is it bothers me most when sitting and driving my car. Went to a foot doctor 2 years ago who gave me a couple of injections but did very little to help. Walking/running does not bother me. Any ideas?

Hi,

The most common causes are increase in uric acid and decrease in vitamin D so get these two tests done. Till then apply diclofenac gel and give hot fomentation to relieve your pain.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
