What Causes Constant Pain In The Arm After Injury?

about 14 years ago I was doing standing barbell presses with about 90 lbs. As I was lowering the weights my 2 year old daughter ran in front of me causing me to jerk and lose control of the weights and instantly felt a burning pain in my left shoulder. It has hurt occasionally but now hurts all the time and sometimes I can t even move my arm. The pain wakes me up at night. whit is wrong

Hi,

It can be a musculoskeletal pain.

As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen or Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan done.
