What Causes Constant Pain In The Body Post A Trauma?

i need help. I got hit by a car almost 3 years ago and I have been through everything you can think of to get better!! But nothing works and I live in constant pain. The more I do.. Like clean, walk, lift anything, do everyday activities the more pain I am in!!! I was so fit and active!!! I did everything, water ski, goto the gym everyday, walk for over an hour a night, ice skating, I was always doing something. Not I can not even clean my house like I used to!!! That bothers me so bad because I have OCD!!! And I have just said to myself I m just going to do it all even if I can not walk for a week!!! I did and it was horrible!!! I cried in pain for days on end!! Anyways, I am at my end... I do not know how to fix myself or find the right doctor to fix me!!!! What do I do now????

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Constant pain with even minor activities also post an injury (as car accident) indicate central pain syndrome where certain neuronal centers in the brain are damaged and cause pain even during slightest handling of soft tissues. Kindly provide me recent MRI images with all details of previous scans if available and possible as there are very few number of cases documented in this series to be studied and evaluated in medical science and let me assist you in best possible medical manner for your well being. Awaiting for your response.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
