I currently have constant pains in my chest. They come and go all day. I ve had three separate procedures. Where I ve had 6 stents put in. Last 2were small stents last April. My heart doctor says I m fine ,but I m tired of these pains. I take my Medes and regularly treadmill. What is the cause
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I am Dr Mittal. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I think the reason is for your daily on and off pains are a problem related to the microvasculature of your heart. The doctors can visualize the larger part of your vessels. We cannot however visualize the smaller parts, and no procedure can be done for it either. I think you can talk to your doctor for prescription for sos sorbitrate. This may help you with the pain if you take it before an activity that causes pain, or during the pain as well.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best wishes,
Get well soon.
