Thanks for putting your query over here.
Before I proceed, would like to ask you ,what is your age,is there any other associated medical conditions like diabetes, thyroid disorders egg,and does your occupation need constant standing?
Constant pain in leg may be due to following causes-
As it is worsening at night while at rest,It can be due to restless leg syndrome.
The pain can be due to age related osteoarthritis. If associated with tingling numbness in feet,It can be due to neuropathy caused because of diabetes mellitus.Peripheral vascular disease generally cause pain in legs in movements or exercising which is less likely in your case as per history you are giving..If the pain is more in calf or is associated with swelling of ankles,It can be due to venous disease. As you are suffering this pain from many months,I advise you to visit a surgeon/orthopaedician,So that assessment can be done and accordingly medications can be given..Relief can be obtained by taking anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or naproxen, doing some brisk walking of 30 min or stretching exercises, avoiding alcohol or excess caffeine, taking vitamin and calcium supplement.
Thanks and regards.
