Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have constant pain in my right thigh. It is especially painful in the early morning-often waking me up & I need to put a heating pad on it to get comfort & back to sleep. It also hurts during the day when I stand or walk more than 15 minutes. This began a month ago & is getting progressively worse.
Hi. I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.
Constant pain in thighs might be due to the overusage & stress on thigh muscles leading to tendonitis or any sprains . It presents with symptoms like Pain in the front or back of the thigh radiating to knees & hip while walking or when doing your routine work.
I advice you to - Do gentle massage of thighs & rest. Don't overstrain. - Hot compress - Analgesics like ibuprofen or aceclofenac with a muscle relaxant.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
Regards, Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
