What Causes Constant Pain On Lower Back?

I have a dull constant pain on left side of lower back that is intense. I noticed when i get this pain i usually have a bowel movement sometime after. No other symptoms. Had it about a week but it is there all day. It comes all of a sudden and i cant figure what caused it. No straining or sudden movement. Comes without any provocation

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I share your concern
Looking at your description this could be related to lower spine ( back bone), kidney or intestine or back muscles
I would advise you to take ibuprofen for pain relief and stretching exercises under supervision of a physiotherapist.

Simultaneously if you can get an appointment with your GP, I would advise you for fee investigations like X are LS spine and urine test or an ultrasound if it worsens further

Sleep on a hard bed
Avoid sudden bending forward or lifting heavy weight
Have plenty of fluids and multivitamin with calcium supplements

Thanks for using our services
please feel free to ask for more assistance, I will be happy to help you
Best wishes
