What Causes Constant Pain On The Left Side Of The Abdomen?

Hi I am very concerned with a stitch like pain in my left side. It has been like this for approximately 6 weeks and the past few days has become more constant throughout the days. It is not pain full but a discomfort. I am concerned as I have recently worked out my weekly alcohol consumption is way over what it should be at 120 units a week. Now I m really worried I have caused some major harm to myself.

your pain could be due to chronic pancreatitis inflammation of pancreas with excessive alcohol consumption. it is good to get checked by physician and evaluate the need for proper management of the condition also get help to reduce alcohol intake.
