What Causes Constant Pain, Ringing In One Ear And Dizziness With Fever?

I have moderate and continual pain in one ear with some ringing, swollen glands in my neck on each side of under my chin, difficulty swallowing dry foods particularly, dizzy and lightheaded particularly when looking down or turning my head, and moderate headache when I wake in the morning and throughout the day. Very low grade fever.

Hi, thank your for using Healthcare Magic

I have read your description and understand your concern. Before answering your question, I would like to ask you some questions. Does your ear give out fluids? Do you feel other complaints such as diminished hearing? We suspect that you have an Otitis Media (OM).

Otitis media (OM) is the second most common disease of childhood, after upper respiratory infection (URI). This conditions is correlate with Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD).
Acute OM (AOM) implies rapid onset of disease associated with one or more of the following symptoms:
1. Otalgia, pain in the ear, single ear or both sides
2. Fever
3. Otorrhea
4. Irritability
5. Vomiting

These symptoms are accompanied by abnormal otoscopic findings of the tympanic membrane (TM), which may include the following:
1. Opacity
2 Bulging
3. Erythema
4. Middle ear effusion

This disease needs to be treated adequately. For treatment it is necessary to clean the ear and given painkiller like ibuprofen. The possibility of the infection should be treated too.
We recommend that you continue to have a direct consultation with your otorhinolaryngologist to determine the condition of your inner ear.

Hope this explanation useful.
Take care.
