What Causes Constant Pelvic Pain?

I ve experienced pelvic/abdominal pain for 3 weeks now....no foul door or weird rashes...a small amount of light green discharge one time I ve looked and haven t seen anymore of the weird discharge ...all clear...I know I need to see the doc cause its probably a vaginal infection. I would just like a clearer view of which one it probably is.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Green vaginal discharge is commonly due to sexually transmitted diseases. You are suggested to get tests for STI done to detect Trichomoniasis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, etc. Since you are also having pelvic pain, get clinically assessed. Get blood tests & Urinalysis(C/S & R/E) done to detect UTI. You will be treated with antibiotics & antivirals. Avoid multiple sexual partners. Practice safe sex. Stay away from addictions if any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
