What Causes Constant Pressure Behind The Eyes And Head?

I have constant pressure in my head & behind my eyes. Have large amounts of long, thick stringy mucus type material that comes out of my nose is large quantities...when I press on my head I can sometimes relieve the pressure. This has been an ongoing problem. Help.
