What Causes Constant Pressure Behind The Eyes Despite Taking Medication?

Hi I recently had two different very brief dizzy spells that have not come back since. I have felt like my eyes have had pressure behind them and feel as if my eyes are off a bit. I went to a doctor and she told me I have cloudy fluid in one ear and prescribed me doxycycline for 10 days. I have not been dizzy at all but my eyes still feel a little off. Any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The pressure sensation may be due to the sinuses being congested which can occur in conditions affecting the ear.

The use of an antihistamine/decongestant combination (even if there is no congestion of the nasal passages), would be helpful to you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
