What Causes Constant Ribs And Back Pain Along With Dizziness Throughout The Day?
I have been a smoker for 7years. Since the last 3-4 weeks i have been having constant rib and back pain and dizziness (which continues throughout the day) . Few times i have had panic attacks too where i have become breathless. What could it be related to?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
You seem to have symptoms of osteoporosis with weakened ribs. This gives you psychological stress to cause breathlessness. I would advise for urgent health check up with pathological investigations like hemoglobin, CBC counts, serum calcium and vitamin D estimation followed by physicians advise for suitable health supplements and physiotherapy exercises as per need.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
