General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You have symptoms of nerve root pressure in lumber spine area / hip joint sciatic nerve. Imaging investigation like MRI / CT scan would clear the site followed by cause specific treatment. This may involve oral pain medicines, steroid injection at site / physiotherapy or surgery in few cases. Please consult a spinal surgeon for specific advise.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
