What Causes Constant Running Nose Along With Cold Symptoms?
I am 58 years old and I have begun to drink grapefruit juice 3 times daily. I noticed that now I am experiencing cold like symptons and and a constant runny nose. I no longer eat meat, but I am beginning to feel like not doing to much around the house. Can you explain my symptons from a medical view?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of constant running nose along with cold symptoms which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection and spread of infection.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should go for throat swab test and get blood tests done and start treatment after proper diagnosis.
- You should do warm saline gargles.
- You should avoid intake of sharp and spicy food.
- You should take steam inhalation.
- You should take anti-allergic medication such as Levocetirizine.
- Take proper course of antibiotics along with mucolytic agents.
- Avoid intake of outside food and avoid cold carbonated beverages.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
