What Causes Constant Severe Headache In A Patient With Transitory Global Amnesia?
My husband has had several bouts of transitory global amnesia. Most have lasted no more than 5-6 hours. Approximately a week ago, he awoke with a terrible headache (he does have migraines) and stayed in bed for 2 full days. Then, I took him to the emergency department at our local hospital. They diagnosed it as a TGA. But it was so different that his prior TGA, in the length of time and the pain involved. What is the likely cause?

* As per my clinical experience, the prolong episodes of headache in terrible quality may be in concern with cerebral vascular insufficiency via micro circulatory issues or Circle of Willi problems.
* It is most important to diagnose the issue with MR angiography of brain in this regard for the final diagnosis and cure accordingly.
