Changed sensation of smell is very common an issue in
pregnancy and there is no link of real presence of some gas around you. This is just a subjective feeling and there is no harm even to you and absolutely no harm to your baby.
There is no gas actually, but you perceive it. Most commonly it happens in pregnancy due to dryness of the nasal mucosa and is a reversible issue. No long lasting harm is seen. You need to do nasal douches with Luke warm water with little salt in it, 3-4times a day.
Spray Saline
nasal spray. You will get better in no time.
Take plenty of water, and fruits, salads and vegetables. Avoid coffee, tea, beverages, chocolates, energy drinks.
