Wellbutrin is a strong inhibitor of an enzyme system in the liver that metabolizes Effexor. so, theoretically, if you take both medications, Effexor could last longer in your body. Effexor has been associated with increased sweating in about 10% patients in clinical trials but usually seen with much higher doses (>200 mg). you could talk to your doctor about changing the antidepressant. another possibility is menopause which can cause hot flashes and sweating.
