What Causes Constant Tiredness And Low Libido With History Of Vasectomy?
My husband had a vasectomy about 9 yrs ago, divorced 5yrs ago from his first wife, now his sex drive is low and he is tired all the time. On his days off he may take up to 3 naps a day. He is healthy weight 5 9 160lbs so ita not a weight issue. Why is he so tired all the time?
Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Vasectomy can not lead to low libido and tiredness in man. Decreased testosterone level can lead to low libido. I suggest to test for serum testosterone level investigation in your husband. Tiredness can be due to deficiency of Vit. B12, Iron and Calcium. So I advise appropriate tests to measure serum levels of these minerals and vitamin. Low libido could be due to belief that vasectomy decreased the libido. So your husband should forget about vasectomy. Fear and stress can be the cause. These are some easy to administer solution for your husband. Try some relaxation exercises like yoga, meditation etc. Have regular physical exercise. Avoid smoking. Control alcohol intake. Have healthy diet including fresh fruits and vegetable. Have adequate sleep. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care. Thank you.
