What Causes Constant Tremors In Elderly Men?

It s 70 degrees in our house and my 81 yo husband is shaking, even tho he s bundled up. His temp is only 98.8. I ve never seen anyone shaking this bad. It s like he s in the arctic. He feels mildly nauseous but has not vomited. What could these symptoms mean?

Sudden shaking like this may represent rigors, which can be a serious symptom of a systemic infection even in the absence of a fever. I advise you to have him medically evaluated as soon as possible.
