General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, i do care for your concern.
Your symptoms suggest of giardia infection.
Taking a single dose of tinidazole along with antacid would help.
however loosing 30 pounds is abnormal, i would advise to
Consult your physician and to get investigated of large bowel pathology i.e IBD and ulcerative colitis.
hope everything will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
