What Causes Constant Vaginal Bleeding And Pain After Intercourse?

Me and my girl friend had sex for the first time and she lost her virginity. I mean she broke her hymen. Now she tells me that there s a little pain in her vagina. Whatever she does, she feels that pain. And it s been 2 days but the bleeding did not stop yet. Little bit of blood comes out everytime she washes it or touches inside her vagina. I m really tensed about her right now. What can we do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thanks you for asking this question. I have undergone through your question. I understand your concern. This is common after first intercourse due to rupture of hymen. I will take time in healing of wound.

Advise
1. Apply any antiseptic cream in the area
2. Avoid having sex until it heals completely
3. Hot fomentation with slight warm water
4. Consult a local gynecologist who will examine the area for any sign of infection

Good luck
