hi i am a 19 yearold female and i have been on this birth control called necplanon for 11 months now and i was informed that it would stop my period. for the past month i have been experiencing not quite a pieroid but i am still beading and its concerning me. my usial period use to be about 5 days with a medium amount of beading
I would suggest you to have your endometrium studied under microscope. Instead of traditional dilatation and curettage for collecting the endometrial sample, hysteroscopy should be preferred so that the uterine cavity also may be visualized. Then the biopsy of the endometrium should be taken and sent to the histopathology laboratory for study.
