What Causes Constant Warm Feeling In Ring Finger?

Hi. For about the past two days I've noticed my ring finger being substantially warmer than all my others. It is on a constant, including after washing my hands where all my other fingers are cold. I haven't done anything to hurt it or anything. Any ideas?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have constant warm feeling in ring finger. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like smoking , raynaud's disease , systemic lupus erythematosus , dermatomyositis or diabetes mellitus. I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like nerve conduction test along with blood test and test for diabetes . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist for diabetes like condition and neurologist for nerve dysfunction . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen , apply cold compresses and give proper rest to your hand .
