Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 48 years male, recently went thru bypass surgery & now on recovering stage. After surgery I had constipation for couple of days but after 3/4 weaks bowl has become regular. Now I have pinching pain at anus with bowl movement with discharge of blood.
After operation constipation can remain for sometime because of paresis (less bowel movement )...
Now you have bowel movement with pain and blood in stool...
So your detail history regarding drugs intake and other should be taken . If taking aspirin (as done bypass surgery )than it can lead bleeding as well if high dose there ...
Your anal examination has to be done along with proctoscopy .... If piles , fissure etc like cause present than also bleeding can occur ...
Take care
According to cause treatment given....
Advise : consult surgeon for examination....
