What Causes Constipation After An Appendectomy?
I had an appendectomy 5 days ago, I believe I am doing really good, but I have not had a bowel movement in about a week, I have been taking colace for two days now and stillno bowel mmovement , I wanted to know if drinking coffee may work, or is it not a good idea to drink that?

I suggest, instead, you try Miralax since it's a nonstimulating laxitive. If that doesn't help you should get checked by your doctor to make sure you don't have a fecal impaction
