What Causes Constipation Along With Sporadic Chills And Sweating?

I have been constipated for a fewdays, laxitives do not help. Never have had any problems before. After a couple days now I have a very small bowl movement every hour about the size of a quarter, no pain still cant go. Yesterday either cold or sweating all day, woke up soaking wet.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Laxatives can be used for a short period of time only, if used for a prolonged time, they can actually worsen bowel action because they prevent the bowel from working well.

You may want to try increasing your fiber and fluid intake. At least 8 glasses of fluids should be used, not including any caffeine or alcohol since these cause the body to lose fluids.

Use at least 5 servings of fiber and also consider adding a fiber supplement such as metamucil, cetrucil or benefiber.
You can add a temporary laxative to this to see if this helps.

I hope this helps
