What Causes Constipation And Abdominal Pain On The Right Side?
Been going on 6 months but getting worse every day, constipation very painful bowel movements abdominal pain started on right ride but now on both and upper abdomen now, orange mucsu and some red stained mucus too, pain is very severe I ve got a polyop on bosel too wondering if connected or not related to my pain
Because of presence of blood in stools it might be advisable to see your doctor and possibly have a colonoscopy. Patients with polyps may develop bowel masses and constipation and bloody stools might be a way they represent. It is safer to see your doctor and rule out important causes of constipation. Meanwhile you can benefit from adding fiber in diet and using Polyethilene Glycol and lactulose syrup daily.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General & Family Physician
