Ovulation pain occurs on either the right or left side of the lower abdomen, and can be quite sharp, like appendicitis pain. But the constipation starts before the abdominal pain, unlike when you have appendicitis, though constipation is sometimes a symptom of appendicitis. You need to get an ultrasound examination of the abdomen, and get examined by a Gastroenterologist.
