Constipation or hard stools is a very common problem. In most cases, it is related to wrong diet & rarely due to intestinal problems.
Diet that contribute to constipation is processed foods, white bread, less fluid intake etc. You should increase whole grains such as whole wheat, brown bread, wheat bran, oats , etc. You should also increase intake of citrus fruits. Water consumption half an hour before meals can also be taken. Fibre suppliments like
psyllium or laxatives can be taken in severe cases.
Constipation can also be caused due to intestinal problems like bowel obstruction, narrowing of intestine,
colon cancer, Weakened pelvic muscles, etc.
So you should first try dietary chances & even if problem persist Visit a gastroenterologist
