I had gone through your complaints and understood your concerns as this is a quite common presentation. Constipation is a condition in which there is difficulty in emptying bowels. There are many causes for constipation.

But in your case as constipation was associated with lower back pain, one cause might be OBSTRUCTION CONSTIPATION. In this there will be obstruction to defecation until more waste products accumulate. After getting pressure and pain, defecation occurs.

Sometimes there will be different causes for constipation and lower back pain which are not related. So you can identify by doing different investigations. (ultrasound, colonoscopy). In this case we have to treat both the things separately.

For constipation you can follow the below things which would definitely help:
1.Develop more intake of water
2. Consume extra fiber and enzymes (fresh fruits and vegetables)
3. Avoid sedentary life style
4. Try colon irrigation or massage therapy
5. Avoid using laxatives

For backache, identify the cause and start using non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs. Hope you follow all the instructions and get well soon.
