What Causes Constipation And Severe Abdominal Bloating After A Hysterectomy?
can hormones cause gastro symptoms? I get constipated then severly bloated to the point my waste will grow 7 inches within hours after eating. I ve tried linzess and stool softners but they only provide some temporary relief after causing diarrhea. Doctor took an abdominal xray and said I had dried out feces in my small intestines. The bloating is from my belly button to my breasts and causes my ribs to hurt as well as gas pains in my chest. I take gas medicine regularly. I ve noticed it s worse around the middle and end of the month which use to be my cycle before I had a hysterectomy so I think it may be related to hormones? Should I see my gyno about it or a gastro?

I really appreciate your concern, hormone could cause the gastrointestinal manifestation but not like this as you have stated here but it could be due to some dyspepsia or it may be due to acid reflux disease and you can try Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day, it is good idea to see the doctor just to clear the doubt that you have, hope this information helps.
