What Causes Constipation And Tenderness In Shoulder Blade?
I had my gallbladder removed 5 years since the surgery I have intermittent periods of constipation and difficult bowl movements, my right side under the shoulder blade is often tender. I have had several testbtomtry to determine what it might be IBS, kidney stones, Chrons, liver cancer-cat scan but tank goodness it was not confirmed as any of the above but the discomfort continues
Your symptoms could be related to indigestion, probably caused by gallbladder removal. These complaints are quite often in patients after gallbladder removal. For this reason, I would recommend taking Buscopan for the pain and making some changes to your diet: -Go easy on the fat. Avoid high-fat foods, fried and greasy foods, and fatty sauces and gravies for at least a week after surgery. - Increase the fiber in your diet. This can help normalize bowel movements. - Eat smaller, more-frequent meals. This may ensure a better mix with available bile.
