What Causes Constipation And White Grain Like Discharge In Stools?
my 19 year old daughter was constipated. shes been to the toilet and passed lots of white grains in a hard poo. she has just taken senakot and 2 glasses of orange juice and had another poo which was very dark , soft but had blood on tissue from straining. what could this be with these symptoms please. thankyou.

First of all, please ask her not to strain. She will require laxatives, a liquid diet and of required even an enema. Give her plenty of fluids and avoid fatty, fried, oily food, stale food and all that can cause her trouble. Give her more fibers and grains.
