What Causes Constipation Post A Prostate Gland Removal Surgery?
I had my prostate gland removed 4 weeks ago. For the last 2-3 weeks I am having gas & bloating after eating and have developed a hemorrhoid or anal fissure. I have been using Extra strength Gas-X (simethicone 125mg). It helps but I don t want to take too much. I just tried Ranitidine 150mg to see if it will help better. I am having a colonoscopy at end of month. I need relief before that. Call to doctor not returned as of yet. Been using stool softeners and soft diet. Can you advise? I don t want constipation problems.

You can drink lots of water and keep a fiber rich diet.
